My right headlight was not going on all the time when starting the car and would throw a "bulb out" error. Sometimes I would have to restart the car and flick the switch for it to ignite. I already replaced the bulb and nothing. Then i tried to swap my CANBUS cable with the left headlight(which works no problem) and it started to work. So obviously it is the canbus cable. I removed the canbus cable and just hooked the ballast straight to the bulb which seemed to make it work. I have ed's replica housings with Morimoto 35W 6000k HIDS. I had my buddy use VAGCOM few years ago to program everything so it would not trigger any bulb out error with the new housings and hids. Will it do any harm having the HIDS set up with no CANBUS adapter? I waiting in the mail for the new adapter which should be here this week. I just needed to get home from work at night without being pulled over. Thanks
