New DV suggestions

Hey guys, I have a 2012 Gti its not holding boost correctly and has a terrible sound when shifting from first to second. After doing research I believe it is the DV any suggestions on what brand I should purchase or other possible issues you might believe it is

GFB DV+ or the OEM Rev D will be the 2 most recommended dvs. I've had a gfb dv+ for over a few years without any issues, tons of people run it.

Dv+ is great just be careful when buying off amazon if you go that route. I've seen that some people have been sold fakes that are nearly identical to the real dv+.
