GTI struggling to start and shutting off

My GTI was struggling to start and shutting off today with battery light on.
Does anyone know what is wrong with the car? The battery is one month old.
I was able to start the car normally after 5th time trying to start the car.
The car did not throw any error codes.

Could just be a bad battery. Just because it's new doesn't mean it's good

Alternator? Also check that your battery cables are tight.

Yeah it sounds like fueling. Try it a few times and see if you can't smell gas out the tailpipe. If you do you likely have a leaky injector that's flooding a piston and depressurizing the HPF line.

Alternatively you could prime the system by opening and closing the driver's door a bunch of times for the LPF line, and turn on and off the ignition a bunch to prime the HPF line.
