Crankshaft and Cam Position Sensors

Our 2010 Golf 2.5 is at 215000 km (133000 miles), the Crankshaft Position (07K906433B) and Camshaft Position (07K907601A) Sensors are "hall effect sensors", uses a magnetic field which gets weaker over time. They are not very expensive and I can install both in 45 minutes, I'm thinking of ordering up new ones. Its not so much the mileage but the age of the sensors.

The parts arrived today, I'll get around to installing them; but truth be told I was more happy to receive the new Hawk HPS brake pads in the same package, for my wife's '15 Accord, wanted to surprise her tomorrow.

Very nice. I am pretty happy with the HPS pads I put on last weekend. So much so I have been thinking of doing the fronts as well even though there is still plenty of life on the stock pads.
