Now, my camera phone isn't really helping much because it doesn't show the true colors. So in these photos, the interior lighting is looking orangish and not red. If you plan on doing this, I would first order up the minimum length of all the colors you're considering. You can then order the actual lengths' of the final color you want to use.

Here's a tip that might be helpful when siliconing the wires down...take an over-sized cup like a large McDonald's or Sonic cup that has that shape. Fill it with water and leave in the cupholder overnight to keep the wires in place (along with the tape). This is what I'm doing with the redo wire.

I have a new write up for using flush mounted LED's instead of the EL wires. I constantly burn up the wires and power inverters for some reason. You can find my new DYI here.
