I was quoted 300 for a carbon cleaning without the injector seals, but i'm not 100% sure they do a great job from the pictures. Are there any other places with comparable prices in the NJ area?
How many miles are on your car? I had the same P2015 code and had my intake manifold replaced under warranty at 57k miles. Had a carbon cleaning done at the same time for ~$300. Linden VW.
I've also had work done at KMD Tuning and Redline Speed Worx. Both do good work.
Brica's Garage. Shop located in Kenilworth, NJ. The best mechanic for German cars in the area. Does walnut shell blasting to clean out the carbon. Had it done on my MK6 GTI with 135,000 miles. Car runs like brand new afterwards.
Not northern Jersey. But I do know Island Works in point pleasant offer both chemical and media blasting. The chemical cleaning is less invasive and cheaper ($300) it's also faster. I believe its about 2hrs. https://www.islandsportworks.com/intake-carbon-cleanings/
