I don't drive dsg I have 6 speed manual. And I would say it's different only cuzz I get one more free oil chance

FWIW the expression is "I couldn't care less." By saying you could care less it acutally means you care....think about that for a moment.

My previous 2 cars (both BMW's) had an o/c service interval of 15k. I would change the oil at 7.5k and get the next one free. I usually keep vehicles for no more than 2 years. Regardless of how long I keep them, I always maintain them to my standards not the manufacturer.
