Do you really need the stock airbox to pass smog? Im thinking about moving back to San Diego soon and I dont remember having an issue with having an Intake on my truck. Have they gotten that much more strict?

Side note I do have an OEM 2.0 tsi intake box off of my 2013 gti. Unless im going to need it too for smog in Cali.

APR carbonio wont pass smog in Cali? So I need to hang on to that and my stock downpipe.... Damn Cali emission laws

It just needs to have a carb sticker. But mine didn't come with one. I think the carbonio does have it. And yea, keep that downpipe for sure man
