Electrical Problems??

So frustrated!

This would be the second time my car wouldn't start in a parking lot.

Took it to the dealers the first time, and like always, they couldn't find anything.

Anyone else have this problem? Know what it might be?

if you had a vag-com cable you could tell what it was really quick. Maybe search around your area for other Vw drivers that might have a vag-com???

If not take your car back, as obviously that will throw codes, and tell them you want a copy of the error codes from the computer. Don't let them tell you that cant get that, or they cant do that. Tell them to look at the codes and fix your car.

Just get the dealer to sort it show them the video.

It was showing an ESP error on the display along with bend lighting (AFS) failure and the MIL light was on the amber engine light next to 8k on the rev counter.

If you can find someone near your with VAG-COM\VCDS to do an Autoscan to get the error codes that would be an advantage.

Seems like (with these cars) that if you have some electrical problems, you have all possible electrical problems in the future. Just be a little weary.

Any update? I have the exact same issue, same codes thrown, everything! Mine is still at the shop right now.
