Hey guys

What do you recommend would be the best solution to repair paint chips? I nicked my rear bumper pretty bad while putting my bike in my trunk i really dont wanna use a touch up pen and reaaaally dont want to spend $400 to get my whole bumper repainted. Can anyone suggest a good paint or body shop that would have an alternative solution? I did a little research and found a couple kits that i can purchase, does anyone have any experience with these products?

For the little chips your car's hood gets .. I've used Dr Colorchip with great success. Easy process and its basically invisible unless you know where to look.

I've been wanting to try Dr Colorchip to fill a lot of the chips in my hood. Has anyone here with a black GTI tried it before? Just wondering about how well their black matches the VW black..

..on a side note, has anyone has to have their front bumper repainted yet? My GTI has been winter driven for two seasons and I think it's well beyond repair in terms of getting it professionally detailed.

I've had a good experience with Dr. Colorchip too. Used it a few weeks back as a matter of fact.

OP....do you have any pictures of before and after? What you're describing sounds like something bigger than a chip.
