Wind noise - drivers side

Hi,

This is the second time I have heard increased (and weird) wind noise on the drivers side.

First was at 60mph and a gust of wind went over the car.
Second was yesterday when a renault clio (sporty version) driven by someone in more of a hurry than me made me go quick. At the higher speeds the wind noise increased a lot.


I have seen posts on the GTI side that mentioned wind noise. Should I pop over to the dealer tomorrow?

Well I'm told that customers complained of wind noise near the doors on the Golf so VW fitted the extra seal along the bottom of the door and that supposidly stopped it.

There are quite a few threads talking about rattles and squeaks I haven't noticed anything on mine apart from the handbrake squeaks a little bit when you pull it up, I haven't got around to squirting the WD in there yet.
