Hi Guys,
I just sent my car for servicing 45k interval @ 40550km.
Before doing that, I usually do a few things like reset back to stock and check via VAGCOM if there are any fault codes.
This fault code appeared 001089 which when checked with Ross-tech, showed the EVAP system fault.
I didn't really bother about it cause I assumed it was because I changed back to stock and was driving around town without a tune. So I didn't really bother and reset it and cleared all fault codes. Drove for another day or 2.
Sent it into service, and got back my car without any problems or complaints from the VW SC. They also mentioned that there weren't any fault codes.
So I did my own check again and didn't find any fault codes.
After which, I put the stg 1 tune back and then drove for a day or 2 and now when I checked it, it showed the engine error code again.
I cleared it once more, just want things to stabilize for a couple of days and see if the code appears again.
What could be the possible problems? Is this a known issue? I will check in a day or 2 just to see if the code appears again and report back.
