I'm in the Charlotte and the Raleigh areas often. Anyone have any suggestions where to go for carbon cleaning, what to expect price-wise? From what I've read, this is a bear of a job to do yourself.

Really? In that case, anyone have a link to a good step by step tutorial? My YouTube and Google searches haven't turned up anything too helpful.

I believe there is a DIY tutorial somewhere on this forum. It's not that hard if you're good with hand tools.
- remove the throttle pipe
- remove the intake manifold
- disconnect the fuel line
- unplug several wire connectors
If you have the proper tools, you can remove the I/M in less than 15 minutes. Don't ask me how I know. LOL
