Help me identify this turbo!(K04 content?)

Saw this on my local Craigslist for a very attractive price. Guy claims it's a K04 turbo off of a 2005 GTI. Has me confused. What do you guys think?

Did you look up the numbers? I am not familiar with earlier models, but it's not going to fit our cars

I looked them up and some forums said K03s, some said K04... that's why I decided to ask here as well.

stock turbo from MKIV GTI 1.8t

I wanna say from what I looked up it is a k03. Off a 1.8T. But I could be wrong.

There is a k04 variant for the 1.8t that will not fit our 2.0t
