Golf R LED Tail Lights

Not sure if your tail lights got fixed but I just coded one of these last night for the same issue. Byte 18 was coded incorrectly, I changed the value to 55* Note: w/the new 11.11v of VCDS changing values for Byte 18 are a little different, but its easy to figure out.

09 Central Electronics > Coding > Long Coding Helper > Byte 18 to 55*

*this value is for halogens and LED tails w/o the rear fog.

Right Rear Fog Tinted

Other way around mate. RHD cars have the rear fog on the right, and LHD have it on the left. That video was of Steve P's GTI that is RHD but has the wrong LED's fitted ie a LHD set.

Fitted mine yesterday from a VW dealer in Germany.

Just have to code with VCDS on Friday.

Anyone know the part number for the right rear fog tinted

Could just be a bad bulb. You could swap the bulb with the other side to check real quick.

Has anybody successfully added sequential (otherwise known as dynamic) LED turn signals to these tail lights?
A Korean website shows such installations. Search on youtube for"dbtune ansan" and find the video clip with Mk6 in its title.
