165k here just spent a few grand fixing up everything wrong on mine to hopefully get it past 200k now

191k running strong no CEL. I have no doubt it will make 300k just might need a few more parts.

142k on my 2014, and yep, I spent some money too. Serpentine belt replaced, timing chain/tensioner replaced, front suspension had worn out (bushings) replaced. Funny how you get used to things, I thought the car handled just fine but when the front suspension got worked on I noticed a marked difference for the better. Car has been Unitronic stage 1+ for a long time now, no issues, pulls hard and runs great, doesn't burn oil. The worst thing about it is the stone chips in the paint that I built up from my time living in south Florida. I now live in east Tennessee, love taking the curvy roads thru the mountains, the GTI handles them like a fighter jet. I'll never get rid of this car.
