Installing exhaust

Anyone have any tips on installing a TBE while on jacks. I know the catback easy but how about the downpipe. Is it doable and how long does it take.

Here are some tips:
-if you can get air tools, get them!
-PB Blaster
-4 jack stands!
-Remove intake
-unclip 02 sensor for the top
- get the two ruts on top of the dp off FIRST then jack the car up n go under!

Why do you have to remove intake?

You don't have to, just makes it a lot easier to get top bolt on dp.

Actually removing the battery & battery tray, and using a ratchet with a huge extension makes it easier to get to those top 2 nuts IMO

Unclip the O2 sensor wiring & harness from the firewall but leave the sensor on the downpipe, and then remove it after the pipe is out of the car

You can leave that on there too....I didn't take that off when I took my downpipe off & went back to stock

I just removed the battery & the battery tray, and used a long extension to get to the nuts

i took the stage 1 part off, There are two hoses you stick the extension through in order to get the top bolts.

Once you get the 4 bolts of the turbo the rest is easy the CBE is just held in with rubber hangers, just spray em and have another set of hands, you pull exhaust one way and ur buddy pulls the other way.
