I have my shop do the install for me. Have to remove the bumper. Everything was straight plug and play for me with no vagcom required.

yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the LEDs, but it's a damn sight better than OEM halogens. The cost and effort of retrofitting a highline CECM and OEM bi-xenons just didn't make sense. For only $700 a pop for a plug and play solution and came with HID kit pre-installed, was worth a shot.
It's some generic HID kit that came with it. Looked like 4300K to me. I'm swapping them to either 6000K or 8000K bulbs of my own line to better match up to the LEDs.
