Quick question R suspension on a GTi

Will the spring rates be too far off?

Doable?

Got offered a suspension that I need to make a decision on ASAP.

I do track my car though not as much since I have my kid now

I did this once to my golf 2.5. That had monster gap and it only dropped like a quarter of an inch. The spring rates are way far off I wouldn't reccomend it. I'll see if I can find a picture but I have a thread on here about it with pictures that hopefully are still there lol.

KW just contacted me.....the GTi and R Clubsports are the same

if it's adjustable then it should be fine since you can crank down a notch or 2 to match the weight differences i believe.

Wait your talking about coilovers? If so then you should be fine because you can just adjust as stated above. I thought you meant oem R springs because those won't won't.
