Might be worth checking with the organizers to see if they'll let you run the car. I have done quite a bit of AutoX and convertibles without a factory hard-top on were required to have rollbars, but this will depend on the organization.
If they'll let you run the car, you'll have a blast. Everyone should try AutoX at some point, it's a good way to improve your car handling skills.
Bear in mind that this event may have relaxed requirements.
