Might be worth checking with the organizers to see if they'll let you run the car. I have done quite a bit of AutoX and convertibles without a factory hard-top on were required to have rollbars, but this will depend on the organization.
If they'll let you run the car, you'll have a blast. Everyone should try AutoX at some point, it's a good way to improve your car handling skills.

Bear in mind that this event may have relaxed requirements. At last year's event at Willows Springs, drivers were allowed to have passengers, which is pretty much unheard of otherwise.http://www.speedventures.com/faqs.aspx said:

its only my second time getting pulled over, so i panicked and didnt refuse to pop my hood
got me for having an illegal intake(not carb legal)
tickets says i need to "see" state referee
also has a warning for loud exhaust
i wanna try and get him back because the ticket says nothing about PASSING state ref. it only says i must see them.
i know it's implied, but it isn't directly written down.

Ironically I'm not going for wuste. My buds gf has some horse riding comp and she got a room for a good deal. Yay for cops turning their heads when they see open containers whooooooo.

Haiii! Got in an accident :/. Decided to part out and sell the car instead of fixing it and just get into an mk7 gti instead around november or december. Don't really NEED a car right now anyway live pretty close to work and my mom mostly uses her car for grocery shopping and what not so, I just use her car to go to work and back home for now lol.
