this would be a million times easier with the turbo out of the car. i wasnt able to secure all the tabs on the turbo blanket due to the fact that i couldnt see or reach them. its secure enough for now. the downpipe wrap seemed easy but it kept snagging on everything and started fraying. its not super tight but it works. im not gonna install the factory heat shield cos the turbo blanket is kinda in the way and i dont want to look at the ugly shield anymore. i ordered some heat sleeves for the metal lines above the turbo manifold. i just got to find a way to secure the intake. great products though!!

What ramps are you using? Rhino Ramps?

I've been away from home for quite sometime and almost forgot how driving a GTI feels..
