Stratified Flash Tunes Released for the MK6 GTI

If you are looking for a bit more power than a P&P K04 then I'd check out the M380H kit offered by Mabotech tuning. It seems to be a newer turbo kit but I understand it to be a modified IHI turbo; new wheels and P&P done to it. I'm not sure if Stratified Tuning would be able to tune it though; it would be a totally new turbo.

I have seen people push high 300's whp with it and I saw a dyno that made 407whp with a blend of E20/30.

Might be decent as long as it doesn't turn into another frankenturbo ordeal. [emoji23]

We have been working on testing the new COBB features sccessfully on our development MK6 GTI.

Every new flash tune going out will have LC and FFS enabled and brake boosting (both accelerator and brake being applied) as an option. This is live on our site.

Also for existing customers who want the FFS, LC, brake boosting enabled on their existing tunes (with no other changes) you can do so via a flash tune adjustment at the link below:

For big turbo customers with a protune, the raised boost and load limits have also been tested and are available with every tune:

For customers that have completed protunes and have the fueling and room to run more boost, you will need a top up tune. We will need to do some back and forth datalogging to raise boost and dial it in again.

Thats a joke right?
No joke. Alex said he could enable brake boosting which would be the same effect as left foot braking. The factory ecu kills Throttle input when the brake is pressed. I'm wanting that gone so I can brake boost and have more control over the brakes and throttle without interference from the ecu.

You can brake boost now. Just brake first

I tried earlier today. Maybe I still hit the gas too soon. Soon as I hit the gas pedal it cut out. I'll try again tomorrow. I know apr does the left foot braking feature. I was mainly curious if that would help with the "delay" when starting from a dead stop with dsg after letting off the brake. Maybe not though.

Update: Last night I received my first tune from Alex :) Installed the 3bar sensor and flashed the tune with my fingers crossed that nothing was wrong on start up. Car hiccuped on some air, but probably just the change in calibration. So far car drives fine. Was avoiding hard throttle input and the car only saw boost levels of 16psi hehe. Trying to keep close attention to LTFT and STFT before getting on it. Knock got close to -3 yesterday with a -2.5. Hoping after getting some miles in today I can get a decent set of logs tonight.

I always see -3 on my logs. Apparently nothing to worry about!

It's fine as long as it's it's there momentarily, not all the time. And a maximum of -3 at any given point.

During DD I might get a -4.5 at no more than 3k RPM so I'm trying to fix that now.

Yeah it sometimes goes -1, -2, -2.5, -3 between 3k and 4.5k in peak boost. Then back down to 0 again when the boost falls off. It's usually on 1 or 2 cylinders, never all of them. Stratified have had more than enough of my logs to determine if it's an issue or not lol.

Are you planning on dynoing the car after the tune? I'm very curious to see what kind of numbers you get given your mod list looks almost identical to what I plan on installing in the next few months.
