Rotated the tires (6K miles) and put my Porsche Anti-vibration shims on my Brembos to deal with the squeal. So far so good...

Washed the wife's yesterday. Added a couple coats of mothers carnuba wax. Looked so good, I thought I would get to mine today. After washing, I find this sap looking coating all over my panels. Clay bar didn't touch it. Out came the porter cable with M 205. It looks fantastic! Found a couple of small scratches. Hit them with Ultimate Compound. Followed it up with the carnuba wax. Didn't get to waxing the wheels. Hope I find time before the rain starts here in he NW.

exchanged my GTI grille for a GOLF grille. no fitment issues with mine, but GOLF guy had to trim his tabs which took literally 15 seconds to do. Ordered a GTI grille badge for it from parts4euro. Should look good.
