2010 GTI - P2015 code less than 20k kms after replacement?

Replaced my intake manifold at 205k kms and now at 223k kms the code has popped up again. What gives? I did get my valves decarbed recently professionally. Is there a simpler fix to this other than just getting another manifold put on?

There's like 4 different ways they can fail that all pop p2015 so it depends. Did you get the updated version installed? Theres been a new one since 2017 that has a revised flapper sensor, flapper breather valve, beefed up flap stops and beefed up flapper arm. Those newer ones are more robust.

Bummer. It does seem rare for the new ones to fail but it could still happen. Maybe check the vac lines on the flapper solenoid?
