I bought a 2012 GTI with the Autobahn package about 2 months ago. I've only ever used the nav function a handful of times, but am finding that it regularly gives sub par directions... taking me the long way to get to the freeway, going through town instead of getting on the highway etc. One time it tried to send me all over town when I *knew* there was only one way to get where I was going, and it was in the complete opposite direction that the nav was trying to send me. Entering addresses is also hugely clunky, but that's another issue altogether.
Is there any way to update or somehow enhance the directions I'm getting? Recently I've just been using google maps on my phone and letting it play with my music over bluetooth, but it seems a bit silly when I've got built-in nav with a nice big screen, to be listening to directions from my phone.
