7P6 035 730F $125 shipped in the U.S. It'll display bluetooth audio info on the screen for version AE, AF, and 188F RCD-510's or on the newer RNS-510 and work with voice command on the newer RNS-510's.
I also have a revision K and a revision E.
If you need a harness you can buy one from here:

Here's a video on how to swap it and another on some of its features (the newer ones that I have do a little more than the earlier modules):

They all do the same thing since they have software above 2660. Some are just newer. The version J has SW:3200 on it which has the latest software for A2DP Bluetooth streaming. The version D has newer software than the version 7P6 ending in E.

Do you know if I add this to a 2010 GTI With RCD-510 if it will allow me to skip songs with the headunit while listening to blutooth? If so PM me paypal info and price for newest unit as your first post was a bit confusing.

You'd need to change your radio to a version AE or AF and add the bluetooth module to be able to control it from the radio screen. This will allow you to make phone calls and stream bluetooth audio though. If you have a 2010 you have the 9W2 which only allows you to talk and receive calls. This one will add the phone book to your MFD and allow you to stream music.

If your radio has a 'Mute' button you will have to upgrade to one with the 'Phone' button instead.

That's correct. The version AE and AF have the phone button. It may work on a version AD, but I've never tried it.

I have the module, but not the harness. I know where you can get a harness and microphone for $78 shipped though.

Hi, Barry! Can you tell me the difference between the AE and AF?

Also, if you don't mind could you take a look at my question here:

Thanks!!
The AF is the newest 2013 version, but I haven't messed with any of them yet. I've owned a few of the AE's for my various vehicles, and it's a nice upgrade from the AC or AD unit. I'd imagine that the AF fixes some of the bug issues that some of the version AE's have had. You can upgrade to either one without changing anything. Just pull your radio out and plug the new one in. There may be some coding that needs to be done, but that's it. All you need to do is copy the long coding from your version AD radio and paste it into the long coding helper box for the new radio after it's installed. I have seen a few version AF radios on eBay recently, but never bought one to check it out. Just buy an RNS-510 and let your wife be jealous. I have a version E sitting in my garage right now that I'll sell to you. My friend just picked up a used 2010 Golf TDI and I was trying to get him to take it, but he pretends like he's broke when everyone knows that he makes a small fortune every payday.

Does the AE show the name of the song playing on the screen? Also will it stop and start the music on the iPhone, so you don't actually have to get on the phone to start the music?

Thanks!!!

Do I have to disconnect the battery when I swap the RCD-510 AD for AE, or is it ok to leave it connected?

Does disconnecting the battery screw up the car's computer/memory/settings?
