ive looked it up and all signs point to the diverter valve. should i even bother going to my dealership (which i dont have the nicest relationship with since stage 1) or should i just change the diverter valve myself?

I've also have this random code i can't figure out if anyone wants to take a crack. searching showed no real answer.

Ignore the second fault.

P0299 is not as common on the TSI as they were on the FSI. It's possible that it's a bad DV, but not the only possible fault. P0299 just means that boost is lower than commanded. Do you have the old rubber diaphragm style DV? It's easy to remove and check for tears (I've also found them seized open). The fault indicates only 1 occurrence, have you cleared it to see if it returns or have you run any boost spec/actual logs?

I'll clear the code to see if it returns. No logs have been done/haven't checked my dv yet. I don't want to pull it out and have the dealer give me shit about pulling the DV haha.

You think they'll deny warranty based on the flash?
