My buddy with an old TT bought a turbo from him. Then I saw a bunch of threads on "that other VW board" along with some interesting YT vids claiming Frankenturbo was more or less a scam.

Buddy with the TT blew the car up before he ever got it running right to know if the turbo was anything better than a regular K04

This will be a work truck this time around. Trading in my personal vehicle for it though Swing should be around 30-40K so Boss was OK with it.

I plan to keep 6 years or longer like the Tundra. Unless something bad-ass comes out before then. Don't make sense to buy used with new incentives being so low.
