Just found a good deal for the cobb AP v3 guy is selling it to me for 600. Should I be concerned about buying a used Cobb AP?

That's not a good deal. You should verify that it's not married to his car, if you plug it in it should prompt with the "install" screen.

I mean it's around $950cdn + tax. And he says it will be unmarried but I will definitely be checking when I go to see

That's pretty much it honestly. Any other risk is normal with buying used parts.
