Color cluster in a Mk6?

Thinking about moving on from my Mk5. Considering a Mk6 Golf R. Favorite upgrade on the Mk5 was the color cluster, and the black/white in the R is a disappointment. Don’t really care about an OEM R cluster, I know they were crazy expensive a while ago. But a color cluster from another Mk6 with blue needles would work just fine with proper coding. Anyone done the swap?

Never seen a color MFA on the mk6. Ive seen it on mk7 but not the mk6.

I will say, if you are getting bored with the mk5 platform, the mk6 wont excite you much as it is essentially a reskinned mk5.

If you want something that feels different from the mk5 I would get a mk7. The chassis on the mk7 is miles beyond the mk5/mk6 and the changes made to the EA888 gen 3 are all great.

I remember this guy on Vortex selling custom made color MFA for MK6 Golfs.. Not sure if he’s still doing it.

And yeah, I’d like to go used mk7 R, but Mk6 R’s are almost half price in comparison.
