the GTI rear looks so dull.. maybe its the lack of plate, or is the hatch VW emblem smaller? It's just so..... bla. I want to like it, but my MK6 is winning the looks war. Will reserve judgement until I see them lowered with some mods.

I agree the rear end is sort of lacking. It's a bit too plain, and the lights aren't doing it for me. On top of that the rear valence is so boring...at least the MKVI one has some styling. I am sure that it will grow on me and I'll end up getting one in the future but as of now, it's not really that impressive.

Some times less is more. O like to stay under the radar. Will be getting a Golf in the spring of 2015. The front of the GTI is a real turn-off for me, don't care for the red stripe in the headlamps or the "WISKERS" over the fogs. Just my opinion.

So I ran into what appears to be the "fully" loaded MK7 test car with the LED lights up front and fogs. That one looekd significantly better but unless its all decked out, the regular models are boring as shit.
