Coolers! Like for beer... and.... BACON!!!!!

So I just saw a Yeti cooler for the first time a few weeks back and I gotta say it's been itchin at me to replace my 20+ year old colman job. My only question is would it be worth it?

I do go camping a bit and train dogs on most weekends so cold water is always awesome and with summer finally here I'm seeing a lot of weekends out drinking beer with friends and family in my future.

Just wanna know if anyone has one of these or something similar. After doing some research I found quite a few companies selling well insulated coolers for pretty hefty price tags ie. Yeti, Bison, Pelican (why are they all damn animals?!)

If anybody has used them I'd love to hear your thoughts on them.

The yeti is built like a tank but they have to be primed so to speak to get the longest cooling effect. Orca coolers are much cheaper than the yetis are and are damn near identical.

ETA I had a roadie but sold it because it was an impulse purchase that didn't really fit my needs on a kayak.
