if they manage to keep it as low as they say, this could be a slam dunk. further down in the article, they say they're planning an even cheaper model (ID.1) and they plan for that one to be sub-20k euro. Even EVs need a plastic fantastic car. I'm all for that.

making these cars more attainable to all types of folks with varying levels of income is good process towards expanding and really fleshing out the EV infrastructure. These cars are still mostly a middle class and up plaything.
