Driving with AC On (Manual)?

So while im still somewhat new to the 6 speed, I've noticed that starting from a stop is....kinda juttery when I have the ac on.

I can drive just fine, no issues when the AC is off, but soon as the AC is on, I have to rev it Quite high otherwise when I left off the clutch (even slowly) the RPM's seem to drop to where it ALMOST sounds like the car dies (but it doesn't).

Has anyone else experienced this? Do they just rev higher when the AC is on?

A/c does take some of the power away, so yes it does affect the acceleration.

I guess that "dying feeling" is the rpm's just dropping super low. Hope I haven't hurt anything....I mean it doesn't stall or anything. prolly bogs it a bit...tho

It's even more fun driving with the a/c on with RSR clutch and spm engine/trans mount.

Yep, I don't run the AC much but this is pretty good advice to help smooth it out a bit

Psssh, your not in race mode 24/7. Drive with that AC on, take that powa loss and deal with it. The minute some fool decides to race you, drop that AC down to ZERO, slam the pedal down, game over.
Just don't listen to a Honda guy. He'll tell you to blast the HEAT on in the car with 100 degree weather to pull the heat from the motor, rofl.
