Gearbox Swap (My Gearbox Faulty - DSG)

Hey Guys! 2nd post here and hoping you guys can help as I feel like I’m lost at the moment due to not many people in my area knowing about DSG Compatibility.

I have a 2010 (60) MK6 Golf GTi 2.0 TSI CCZ Engine.

My gearbox is faulty, I’m not sure if it’s the clutch or the Mechatronic unit, so instead of repairing one or the other, I decided to buy a new DSG gearbox. As I don’t want to spend £1,400 for a new clutch pack & Oil Change and then the Mechatronic turn out to be faulty.. if you understand. I had problem with downshifts and clunks/noises between shifting from N to D and D to P etc (harsh noises)

My current DSG Gearbox code is MMA, I have just bought a DSG Gearbox with 50,000 miles from a VW EOS 2.0 TSI, the Code is LQY

The new Gearbox I bought had the Mechatronic too so I would like to keep that as that has 0 Faults and the gearbox is as smooth as it should be with no problems.

My engine is CCZ
The donor gearbox is from a CAW but still 2.0 TSI (K03) I have been told.

Would the different gear ratios be a problem?

How would this work?

My current Gearbox has a TCU File with uprated clutch clamping pressure to withstand the extra power of my car. It’s tuned 356bhp and 356lb/ft Torque.

I would like to keep the TCU tune. Is this possible or would I need a complete new TCU (Gearbox) Tune?

Any help massively appreciated

Thank you Guys
