H&R Race Springs.

A friend of mine is selling H&R Race Springs that he had on his 07 GTI for about 15xxx miles, for only $100

Will they fit on my mk6 GTI?
and im a lil confused about which springs give you more drope, super sport or race?

After reading this http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=4652425&page=1 i really have no idea if i should buy them or not as far as people been saying how different spring and damper rates on mkv vs mk6, it really makes me doubt the idea about buying my friends spring..
Any help will be appreciated!

no and its not the end of the world. the only thing is the sprigns were made for a mkv which is heavier so the compress/spring rates would be off since mkvi are slightly lighter.
