Headlamp switch

I am thinking of ordering this switch ,so can someone tell me if this would be the right headlamp switch to be able to turn on the front fogs & parking lights without turning on the headlights on my 2012 GTI ?

(assuming you have the DRL's turned off, or else those will stay on IIRC)

Do you have the xenon option?
If yes then the switch is wrong you need the one with the auto switch.

North American cars didn't have the AUTO option from the factory though.....so you'd need to add a light sensor for the AUTO function to work

Or he could use the one he linked above & it's plug and play

Try to get an oem switch if you can, got mine used on eBay.

You'll need the trigger wire also for it work the way you want it to.
