How can I test/change the city light?

Referring to the photo below - the same light on the other side is not working and I am getting a corresponding message on the dash with a warning light.

I had a look and while I can see the caps for the main two lights I'm not sure how to access this one.

Any ideas?

There are round covers on the back of the headlight housing. i remember replacing mine with ones from deAutokey years ago, but have since replaced the units with the later version with the LEDs. I don’t remember it being too difficult, but I think the passenger side was a little awkward to get at or vice versa.

Yeah, they’re really easy. The bulb is on the end of a black plastic stalk.

The stalk almost looks like it would be a headlight adjuster or something, but it’s not. Just give it a pull and it will come out with the bulb on the end of it.

Thanks, as you said it was easy to replace - removed the inner either cover then pulled the stalk out you referred to.
