Is there anyone out there with the IE stage 2 tune without an intake? Just have a K&N panel filter in the stock airbox (with the snow grid removed), but don't want to buy an intake if I don't have to.

Its not necessary to have an intake with any stage 2
By that they mean to get the claimed gains it is required. If you are ok with a little less top end because you have a more restrictive intake, that is owners choice. It does not mean the car won't run if you don't have one. You can run the tune and upgrade later if you want.

Nice one - thanks for the replies. Just trying to see if anyone here is running that exact setup. I'm going to buy their catted downpipe and run without intake, just a drop in panel and snow grate removed. Already running their stage 1 + DSG tune and it's working well.
