I stopped by the vw dealer next door and got a good deal on a 11 gti 6 speed no options

I am just wondering, are these good cars? I am only 23 and this would be my first new car

I don't care about squeaks and rattles, my current truck is a 2002 s10 (yeah)

I probably won't really mod the car an air intake and tint at most (don't want to void the warrenty

I know the mk5's had issues with powertrain reliability and I know they redesigned the motor for the 6 the vw techs I talked to said its 10x better and no more timing belt
