Looking for a good HiD kit

I just got a 2010 Golf 3-door Sportline as my first ever car. I want to get a pair of HiD lights, but the dealer charges me $500 to get them installed. Does anyone know a good place to buy aftermarket HiD lights? And what bulb size and colour I need?

i personally wouldnt buy an ebay HID kit, i know some people dont have problems with them and more people that do. if theres a shop near you that sells them id suggest you go there, that way if you do have problems then you have someone to go to instead of an email adress

A friend has a www.gohid.com kit in his Nissan, Hids without projector housings look pretty ricey, and tend to blind oncoming traffic unless you have good anti-dazzle housings.

I would not go above 6k in the K, as it gets pretty blue/purple real quick.
