looking to buy new wheels

im waiting for my gti to arrive next month, and im trying to get me some new rims because i really dnt like the stock ones. im interested in the MIRO STP1 or STP2. what size fits better, 18" or 19"? im planing on lowering it, and i dont know if the 19" are going to rub with the car. any help?

in reading that thread, it appears that going with 19" may result in rubbing unless you get the proper offset (50?)
