Last weekend, on some of my buddies private land, we did some pulls from 40-100ish.
He drives a MK3 Focus ST with a DP, Catback, FMIC, and a custom Stage 2 tune. My MK6 is full bolt ons tuned by APR.
From 40, he would get the jump because the ST's have a ton of midrange torque, and it was completely even up to 100. I barely started to pull on him at the higher RPM's, but I was amazed how close it was. Didn't get a video, but believe me when I say it was neck and neck. I predict though, that if we kept going, I would barely pull out ahead. Pretty impressive though that my 140k mile MK6 could keep up with his practically brand new Focus ST.
Going K04 next week. We won't be even for any longer...
