New GTI and APR Stage 1???

I just purchased a 2010 GTI (4 door, manual, white, sunroof, dynaudio, all weather mats, 18's). Of course I can't wait to amp up the car with an APR stage 1.

My question is, do i:

1. Break it in, then get the falsh - or -
2. Get the flash (on sale and break it in with the stock - or -
3. Get the Flash and break it in @ 91/93 - or -
4. Do nothing cause it's brand new!

FYI, Bill Jacobs VW in Naperville, IL is close or GDR. Thoughts???

Congratz on the car. I waited after the break-in period but with the sale going on i would say #2.

take advantage of the sale and get it done, you can still break-in the engine on either setting, stock, 91, 93, 100.

get the tune but keep it in stock mode... i just got the tune today and the difference is night and day... the car pulls much harder then it does.

take advantage of the sale! so when you finally break it in, you can just switch over and start going through tires, lol.
