When burger king got thrown under that bus me and a friend tried to brainstorm, couldn't come up with anything other than horses were work animals back in the day, cows weren't, cows are slower and dumber than horses were back when we didn't have all this fancy technology, you'd have to "catch" a horse to kill it, where as catching a cow is easier, and cows produce milk that we all consume, so it's win/win...
There's literally nothing wrong with horsemeat, meat is meat, no different than eating deer or snake meat or w/e...
