Hey guys, great to finally check out the forum. I have a rather interesting history with my candy white Golfs.

After university I jumped into a leased Trendline. The base Golf in Canada, with 5spd, 3 doors and not much else.

I loved that car. It was great fun. I was particularly excited because the lease was going to end just as the Mk7 made its way to Canada. However, late in 2013 I came outside to this:

I dealt with that and bought another Golf, this time a Sportline. Hindsight I probably should have jumped into a much cheaper car but this one is so nice, it just made sense. I've now had 40k trouble free km so far and love the sportier suspension, sunroof and touch screen.
