If they can sell it easily, tell them "thats great". The black book thing sucks... I just ignore that, and I agree with Plac's advise - keep hounding on 18K.

Subaru does offer good financing , no doubt. worst case scenario, I'd say 17,5 on your car, and another 500 off theirs, then "sign and drive"
