north korea became one of the most interesting places in the world to me this year. It is head to toe, QUITE the place.

But more interestingly, netflix had a documentary called 'inter the inferno' which was about volcanos, but the latter half of the film was a special surprise - all high quality exclusive and rare footage inside north korea and how stuff 'works' there.
It's mindblowing.
And yeah i could focus on the crazy leadership, or how brainwashed and poor everyone is, the funny backstory to how NK even came to be, but the most impressive thing about it is the pixelated 'shows' they put on with their clothes or placards using like 100,000 people at a time.
