Tiguan Pipe 101

So I came across the tiguan pipe mod this forum. I have a 2011 GTI and it does not have a noise maker, will tiguan pipe reduce turbo lag at all?

No, if you have a 2011 you already have a "tiguan" pipe. At this point it really should be called the "2011 Pipe" mod.

Just to confirm, the 2011 GTI uses the same part number pipe as the Tiguan one? I just ordered one.
