*I had a build thread going for the car some time back, but I didn't really take it anywhere. I plan to keep this one updated regularly, and I also would like to keep it strictly on topic.*

So, without further ado, here's a quick writeup:

Ordered on October 31st, 2013 / Took Delivery on Feb. 24th, 2014.
4-Door Driver's Edition #327 of 3000
DSG Dual-Clutch Transmission
Carbon Steel Grey Metallic / Titan Black Leather
18" Laguna Alloys - Pirelli PZero Nero All Season Performance Tires

9,400 miles as of June 8th, 2015.

Took delivery of car.

April 30th, 2014

DeAutoKey full LED interior kit with red footwells installed. LED license plate lights came from factory.

May 5th, 2014

Driver's Edition kit comes in the mail, packaged in a cardboard box with a honeycomb design. Comes with introduction letter, certificate, GTI keychain, GTI metal water bottle, GTI parking sign, GTI hat.

July 24th, 2014

Small plastic German flag badge installed on front grille, foam tape on back of badge.

October 8th, 2014

OEM Euro light switch installed, front and rear fog, auto function. Auto function without sensor turns the lights on/off when the vehicle is on/off. Trigger wire for rear fog is is still in box for when I install the OEM Euro R20 Dark Cherry Golf R LED Tails.

Forge DV Spacer installed.

November 12th, 2014

VAG-COM Mods completed.

- DRL on/off through settings in MFI screen
- Windows up/down with key fob
- Service reminder interval changed to 3,000 miles
- Coming Home feature activated
- Gauge Celebration (Gauge Sweep for MY 2013+ MkVIs)

Finished preparing GTI for garage storage through the winter, until salt and sand conditions clear.

March 29th, 2015

GTI taken out of storage for upcoming warm weather and prepared for future use. German flag badge removed. Forge DV Spacer removed, and the revision D DV was installed in place of worn Revision C DV at the same time.

May 1st, 2015

Installed clear side markers from ModdedEuros.com, along with DeAutoKey amber side marker LEDs. LEDs are turn signal amber. The camera makes them appear less orange.

APR Carbonio Stage 1 (CFBA) Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake installed. Removed APR sticker on cover.

Custom Instagram tags. Two on car, one on each quarter rear window, measured and centered.

June 2nd, 2014

APR Stage 1 Port Flash Tune complete. Night and day difference. Can get the tires to chirp in 3rd gear in Tiptronic/Sport mode. Feels like a different car, couldn't be more satisfied with the end product.
